BUCHAREST, February 23, 2026 – HELIX LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT, part of THE HELIX CONCEPT group, announces a decisive step toward decarbonizing freight transport in Romania by electrifying its urban delivery fleet. The company will exclusively purchase FOTON electric commercial vehicles, while also launching HELIX E-MOTION, the new division responsible for distributing FOTON vehicles in Romania (www.fotontrucks.ro).

The development strategy targets achieving 100% electric fleet for urban transport by the end of 2028. Currently, electric trucks represent 10% of the company’s fleet, and by the end of 2026 this percentage is expected to exceed 20%, with a final goal of approximately 150 electric units.
