BUCUREȘTI, February 23, 2026 – HELIX LOGISTICS DEVELOPMENT, part of THE HELIX CONCEPT group, announces a decisive step toward decarbonizing freight transport in Romania by electrifying its urban delivery fleet. The company will exclusively purchase FOTON electric commercial vehicles, while also launching HELIX E-MOTION, the new division responsible for distributing FOTON vehicles in Romania (www.fotontrucks.ro).

Helix Logistics Development is a company founded in July 2020 by a group of shareholders with experience in the logistics and financial-banking fields. The company’s fleet includes 3.5-ton and 7.5-ton vehicles, equipped with refrigeration units that can maintain temperatures down to -18 degrees Celsius. All trucks are also equipped with hydraulic lifts to allow unloading of goods even in difficult conditions.

We are proud to be partners of Mega-Image, one of the largest retailers in Romania. As part of this partnership, we offer various services, including distribution of goods to Mega-Image stores in Bucharest.
For this, we have a fleet of 30 7.5-ton trucks, being the 2nd largest carrier of the company. We also collaborate for the deliveries of the e-Grocery channel (online deliveries), for which we provide a fleet of 15 cars.
We have a solid partnership with Intercars, a prestigious company in the field of auto parts. We provide international express transport services with a payload of 20 tons, ensuring that they arrive safely and on time at their destination. We operate on the Sosnowiec – Calafat – Sofia route, with a delivery time of less than 24 hours.
Together with the Auchan Romania team, we managed to raise the standard of urban distribution, through the acquisition of an electric truck, for which we managed to obtain the first N2 type authorization, which allows travel in zone A of Bucharest Municipality, without taxes. Among the transport services we provide through the partnership with Auchan Romania, are urban distribution and national distribution services.
